Laurie Omuro-Yamamoto, a LPHF Volunteer, has embarked on a mission to bring peace, self-care, and stress management to her community, catering especially to working professionals. Her journey has evolved through various community service programs, all designed to promote well-being and combat the daily stresses of life.

One of Laurie’s recent projects involves a weekly program to share love, peace and harmony. Participants have expressed their delight, with one individual stating, “I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed this; I feel more relaxed. My shoulders feel much better. Thank you so much!” The positive impact of Laurie’s work is evidenced by the gratitude and appreciation of those she serves.

In addition to this program, Laurie is currently in the process of revamping her community service initiatives. She is collaborating with her community at the Satori location site in Kahului, Hawaii (111 Kane Street, Kahului, HI 96732), where the focus is on providing self-care, stress reduction, and burnout prevention to healthcare workers. This initiative is particularly vital, as healthcare professionals often bear the weight of tremendous responsibility and emotional stress.

Laurie’s initial efforts involve a small group of 5-6 case managers with backgrounds in nursing and mental health. These individuals are associated with a local healthcare organization, and Laurie’s intention is to gather more stories and data as she continues to expand her community service program as she uses the LPHF Field including the song and calligraphy when offering her wellness sessions.

Laurie Omuro-Yamamoto’s dedication to promoting peace and self-care in her community is a shining example of the Love Peace Harmony Foundation’s mission in action. She is committed to the well-being of others, especially those in demanding professions. Laurie’s work serves as an inspiration for all who seek to make a positive impact on the world.
