The Love Peace Harmony Foundation’s recent Maui campaign has had a positive impact on the lives of the island’s residents in the wake of the devastating Maui wildfires, especially in the historic town of Lahaina.
Our campaign rallied the global community, including LPHF Field Facilitators, Donors and Volunteers, to support the people of Maui during this challenging time. We are immensely grateful for the unwavering dedication and generous contributions of our community members.
We encouraged our supporters to use the donation link button in their regular love, peace and harmony sessions with participants. The response was wonderful, and the outpouring of love and support was truly heartwarming. Donations collected ($51,573 USD) have been channeled directly to local charities, enabling them to provide immediate relief to the displaced residents.
LPHF matched the donations, doubling the impact and ensuring that we could meet our goals. The funds have been distributed to three local organizations:
Kumukahi Ke Aloha: Our contributions are supporting their environmental conservation projects and the promotion of sustainable practices, enriching the quality of life for the people of Maui. Their founder, Malia Davidson, is a LPHF Field Facilitator and Native Hawai’ian.
Project Vision: Donations are extending access to health and human services, not only for the residents of Maui but also for those across Hawai‘i, contributing to better well-being for those in need.
Maui United Way: The funds have been instrumental in bridging essential resources to empower the Maui County Community, including their Maui Disaster Relief Program.
In the spirit of long-term commitment to Maui and it’s inhabitants, the Love Peace Harmony Foundation is working in collaboration with community leaders and organizations on local projects. These initiatives are focused on:
Supporting Emotional Trauma Relief with Love, Peace and Harmony: In partnership with community leaders and local organizations, we have been actively sharing the profound message of love, peace, and harmony. Schools and hospitals have become venues for uplifting individuals and providing essential emotional relief and support to those deeply affected by the fires.
Restoring Sacred Lands: Our efforts have been dedicated to the revitalization of the sacred lands of Lahaina and Maui, including the restoration of native plants, trees, and habitats. The aim is to promote sustainable and environmentally conscious practices moving forward.
As a token of our appreciation for the immediate support, we have been delighted to offer an MP3 player to those who made donations of $100 or more. This not only keeps them connected to their chanting practice but also helps radiate a positive field of love, peace, and harmony to the people affected by this crisis.
