PRESS RELEASE

Love Peace Harmony Foundation is pleased to announce a major project
to uplift humanity, help restore nature, and benefit all life on Earth.

The Plant A Million Initiative
In one year, we aim to plant one million trees.

Plant A Million, an initiative of Love Peace Harmony Foundation, was inspired by the realization that our planet is rapidly undergoing unprecedented change of its natural resources and climate. If we do not act now and implement changes to mitigate humanity’s actions, life on our planet may never be the same. We need to join together to do whatever we can for Mother Earth, the foundation of all of life.

Forests cover 30 per cent of the world’s land area and in addition to providing food security and shelter, forests are key to combating climate change, protecting biodiversity and the homes of the ecosystem stability. Thirteen million hectares of forests are being lost every year while the persistent degradation of drylands has led to the desertification of 3.6 billion hectares.

The impact of this loss has large potential to negatively affect the earth’s ecosystems as well as the vitality of our air, water, and food resources. The biodiversity that is central to life on Earth has to be supported and protected for our survival and for life on Earth to flourish.

One of the easiest and most impactful ways to help the environment is to plant trees. Trees provide us with oxygen, reduce pollution of our waterways, prevent soil erosion, support wildlife, improve psychological health, and much more. Planting trees can bring people in diverse communities all over the world together as one Love Peace Harmony World Family with a shared mission: to improve life for all of humanity and to ensure a rich and healthy planet.

Trees have the power to help save the environment and preserve the planet for generations to come. That's why we're committed to working with people and organizations across the globe to plant more trees and protect the world's precious forests.
