Peace Day Colouring in the Park
Tuesday, September 21st is World Peace Day, an opportunity to create awareness of the power of Love Peace and Harmony to harmonize relationships with everyone and everything.
It was a beautiful day to gather picnic tables, put out material and markers, bingo dabbers to make Peace Flags and colour in colouring sheets with the message of Peace on them. We also set up the Love Peace Harmony banners, played the Love Peace Harmony song, made messages of peace on the sidewalk with chalk, sang and traced. It was an opportunity to connect with those going by, with and without children, to spread the message of Love Peace and Harmony.
We had many people of all ages stop to make flags, take colouring sheets, ask about the calligraphies, the Love Peace Harmony song and have fun. Everyone left with more awareness of the power and significance of the Love Peace Harmony song and field.
The children were fully engaged in making their flags, loved the Love Peace Harmony song and were excited about taking their flags with them and showing others as they went by.
There were several teens that came through the park (you can see them in background in one of the pictures). When they were asked if they wanted to make a peace flag, they said no and went to sit at another picnic table. When they first got there they were rambunctious and swearing. After a short while, their energy shifted and became calm. Thank you Love Peace Harmony!
I am so grateful for the opportunity to share the Love Peace Harmony song and field with as many people as possible. Thank you Master Sha for bringing this most important song to the world!
